#Justice For A'zja Banks

A'zja Banks

Welcome! I'd like to thank you in advance for your support of me in my fight for justice. On this page you'll find information regarding my case, as well as other ways to actively support and stay connected with me.

Help me fight for justice!

In 2017, I reported being sexually assaulted by another student who was an athlete for the University of Alaska Anchorage I was 19 at the time. What followed was a multi-year investigation where the university worked to protect its reputation and the accused—while targeting and silencing me. They never truly investigated him; instead, they scrutinized my life to discredit me. I was mistreated from start to finish, and to this day, no justice or support has been offered. In 2023, I filed a federal lawsuit (Case No. 3:23-cv-00082-SLG) for civil rights violations, sex discrimination, and defamation. This has been a long painfully silent battle, here in 2025 I am now 27 and I’m speaking out so that I can finally receive justice and so that the university is held accountable. I believe we should shine more light on this matter so that more students that have been victimized can come forward and receive justice as well.Survivors deserve more than silence and cover-ups. They deserve to be believed, protected, and heard. Speak up. Share this. Demand better—because the more voices we raise, the harder it becomes for institutions to ignore us.
